Special interest groups
Five groups, open to every member at no extra cost. Each meets online once a month.
The groups
Low-cost Sensors

Schools and Communities
For teachers, community groups and volunteers running sensors with the public. Shares lesson plans, ways of presenting data to parents and councils, and safeguarding practice.
Data Standards
Agreeing common file formats, metadata and quality flags so that networks can share and compare data. Maintains the Association’s data specification.
Health Evidence
Linking monitoring data with health outcomes, and helping public-health teams use local data well. Members include clinicians, epidemiologists and directors of public health.
Policy
Using network data in local air quality management, clean air zones and national consultations. Drafts the Association’s consultation responses.
Joining a group
Members sign in and tick the groups they want to join. Joining adds you to the group’s mailing list and shows the group on your profile in the people directory, so other members can find you by interest.
